I'll be bringing a large external battery with me. I could get a headphone -> USB power converter (they do exist), but they're a bit pricey, and the external battery should power my USB devices for the whole flight, or my laptop for a few extra hours.
I'm considering getting D&D 4E for the flight; although maybe for the flight back, since apparently Portland has good bookstores.

Take a wattmeter and see how much power you can suck out of the headphone sockets?

However a distributed network of headphone -> USB chargers I think has merit, as does an extension cord to sneak into business class.

meh, 4E seemed way too combat-focused for me; now if only I could find someone who wanted to run a CoC 6E campaign..
